  1. It’s been bad in Atlanta, too. I need gas, but don’t want to wait in line – so we won’t be going very many places this weekend. Our governor put in price controls, which I think didn’t help. If the prices were allowed to rise, we’d probably have some equilibrium.

  2. The funny thing is that, here, all the cheapest places seem to be the ones that still have gas (and lines). It was like that right after the hurricane too. Actually, I think they should impose MINIMUM purchases rather than maximum ones, to discourage all the morons who have to top off if their tank gets two gallons below full, like there’s never going to be gas again.
