Alas, one thing that often bugs me about the RSS world is that such things often have an extended life after you decide to kill them…
…And as we’ve discussed, and as most of my readers have guessed, I reached many of the same conclusions about suburban home ownership in the past year as well…
Actually, the problem seems to be that if you return something to draft status after it’s been published, WordPress pulls it from the front page, etc., but still leaves it available by direct link (and thus by old RSS entry). Which sucks when you’re pulling something that really bugs you in retrospect.
Well, I’ve actually totally deleted entries before and they stayed visible in Google Reader for weeks after.
The durability of online content has definitely made me think twice about my virtual presence…
